North-eastern China is famous for the growing of ginseng, particularly in the Cheng Bai Mountain in Zilin Province. More than 90% of the total ginseng production, both wild and cultivated, of China comes from this region. The ginseng used in the production of Americ Korean Ginseng Powder are harvested from fatms in Chang Bai Mountain and the area along the Yalu River bordering North Korea.
